Meet Dr. Kayla Ranger-Dean
A Dedicated Healer with a Passion for Community
Dr. Kayla Ranger-Dean has been serving the Mattawan community for over three decades, bringing her unique blend of chiropractic expertise and community dedication to every patient she treats.
At Mattawan Chiropractic Clinic, you’re not just another patient—you’re part of our chiropractic family. Dr. Kayla’s approach is simple yet effective: “I listen to my patients, care about what they’re going through, and do my best to help them feel better without relying on drugs.”
From Front Desk to Healing Hands
Dr. Kayla’s journey into chiropractic care began unexpectedly. After working as a front desk coverage technician for a year and a half, she realized her potential to do more. “I was doing everything but adjusting patients,” she recalls. “I thought to myself, ‘I can do the rest.'” This belief led her to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, where she graduated in 1992, embarking on a lifelong mission of healing without drugs.
A No-Nonsense Approach to Wellness
Dr. Kayla is known for her straightforward, efficient approach to patient care. “I get people in the door, often with same-day appointments,” she explains. “My goal is to get them fixed up so they can enjoy life again.” This philosophy has earned her the trust and loyalty of patients throughout Mattawan and beyond.
A Legacy of Love and Service
For 31 years, Dr. Kayla served as a volunteer firefighter with the Mattawan Fire District, showcasing her commitment to community well-being beyond her chiropractic practice. While she retired from this role in July 2023, her spirit of service continues to infuse every aspect of her patient care.
Family-Centered in Work and Life
Married for 36 years, Dr. Kayla is a proud mother of two daughters, one in Michigan and one in Nashville, Tennessee. This family-oriented perspective influences her approach to patient care, treating each individual with the same care and attention she would give her own family members.
